Shopping for Pet Supplies And More...

I love to shop online. I don't usually shop for clothing or shoes because it is very hard to find something that fit but I do shop for electronics, cell phones, cosmetics...And of course I do shop for pet supplies for my dogs. I love my dogs but like most people I am trying to save some money looking for best deals and comparing stores and prices. There are some great directories that let you find what you need. But only few can find everything that is for sale on the web. The one of directories that I am using will crawl all stores on the web and it will find the best deals.
Remember that you have to shop wisely and within your budget. :)

Dog Training

When you own a dog that belongs to a working group such as: German Shepherd, Doberman Pinscher, Boxer, Rottweiler and others you have to give him appropriate training in obedience. In my country in every town we have few clubs for a dog owners where for a small annual membership fee you learn how to train your dog. As an owner of a two Dobermans I had to start training in club like this. First of all you teach your dog how to walk on a leash and not to pull you. Than you learn how to teach your dog sit, down, heal, fetch, come....After your dog is good in obedience, you can start a protection training.

Gift Shoppers.

Shopping for gifts is very hard sometimes. Especially when you are shopping for someone you don't really know. That is why I love gift cards. You can give a gift card to everyone and they will be happy.
Valentine' day is a perfect opportunity for gift giving. If you are like me who love to make people happy by giving presents and you don't want to buy something you are not sure about simply buy a gift card.
I love to shop on Internet and I came across one web site that sells gift cards.
For those shoppers who like to give a gift cards this is an ideal solution.

New Puppy.

It's been nine years since I went to pick up Sete, my brown Doberman. But I remember as if it happened only yesterday.
It was October and I asked my friend Natalia to go with me. To make it more adventures we didn't take the bus, instead we tried to stop some car near her house to take us there. We had luck. We were waiting only fifteen-twenty minutes when one car stopped.
Driver was an friendly older guy. He told us that he can drop us near a town were we were going. We explained the purpose of our trip and we spend the rest of our trip in friendly conversation.

We finely got there. Breeder was very nice woman. She made some lunch for us, talked about her dogs and breeding and when we finished eating she took us outside.
And there they were. A big bunch of little cute pups. It was litter of twelve puppies. She had some black and brown ones.
It was hard to decide. Finally after discussion with Natalia I chose one brown chubby baby girl. She seemed very playful and bright.

It was almost midnight when bus drove in to the town. Natalia's mom came to fetch us from bus station. I tried to sneak new puppy into an apartment, but my father was watching television and he saw me. He was upset a little. Since he also loved dogs and he knew that I am responsible, he had no other choice but accepted it.
And Sete stayed.

My Dogs - I'm Home Again

Top Stories
When I came home from Switzerland I went to see my Doberman Don. He was very skinny but he survived a bad winter.
I took him for a walk to see my father who worked at one little diner. When my father saw him he told me that they could use him as a guard dog.
He gave him some dog food, made some shelter for him and send me home.
Next day while I was having my breakfast phone rang. It was my father.
He start telling me that he is scared because Don is growling at him and that I should come right away.
So I took the bus and arrived there in fifteen minutes. By then everything was fine, my Dad was feeding and petting him and he said that Don is a dog with capital D.
He called him "Mister Dog".

From that day Don and my father were best friends. I was very happy my dog had a good place to stay.
I went there every day, fed him, cleaned his kennel, and took him for a long walks.
During the Summer I started to work there and it was great.
When the weather was nice I used to take Don to a near by river called Torysa where he liked to swim.

A year went by very fast. In October I was reading a newspapers and when I came a cross some ads. And there it was. " Doberman puppies for sale - black and brown available. Call .........."
So I called....

In Switzerland.

I get the job in Switzerland. So I went. I was always hoping that one day I would work with horses or dogs. And it finally happened. So now I was sitting in a car with my employer's father in law. He was buying and importing dogs like German's Sheppard, Dobermans, Boxer and selling them there for a lot more.
Trip was exhausting. We spend two days in a car. But we finally got there.

Stables were located on a huge property surrounded by forest. Attached to a stable was office and a small dinner.
As we entered the stables we were welcomed by a bunch of barking Labrador Retrievers. Martin (my employer) was also a dog breeder. And I learn that he had about fifteen females and a one male stud.
In the stables were about twenty horses of different colors, sizes and breeds. My job was to care for these gorgeous horses and beautiful dogs. And help in the diner and feed the exotic birds in huge cages I forgot to mention. So I've had a lot a work to do. Day by day I was feeding animals, cleaning the stalls and dog kennels, brushing and riding horses, worked as a waitress and dish washer in the diner.......

I was happy but by the third month I was also very tired. It was almost December, my birthday was coming up and Christmas too. So with tears in my eyes I said good bye to all horses and dogs, packed my bags and went home. I never regretted that I went to Switzerland. I learned a lot.
